Hi! I’m Kelly
................
Let me tell you about the time I promised a friend I'd run a webinar for her because she was poorly — and then completely forgot having got sucked into my usual evening routine. Or the time I didn't check the small print on a contract closely enough and nearly cost my employer £15,000 in bottled water, yikes. Right now, one of my computers has been randomly switching itself off for weeks, and I still haven't got round to fixing it...or rather, the overwhelm of figuring out how or whether the archaic thing should just be replaced, isn't enough of a priority for my brain to shift it up the list.
ADHD work-related angst has shadowed me my whole adult life. I've missed things. I've forgotten things. I know exactly what it feels like from the inside.
But here's the other half of the story: I once raised £250,000 and brought together 250 young people to run a week-long leadership festival — largely by myself, in six months. (Cue the inevitable burnout — more on that another time.) I started my own business when my son was 18 months old, with money scarce and no idea what I was doing (it felt like...), and it's turned a profit every single year since, bar one. When I started trusting my instincts, I started finding places and people I've genuinely loved working with.
I'm capable of brilliance. I'm also the person who's carpet is in need of a hoover. Both things are true, and neither cancels the other out.
I'm a qualified ADHD coach (having completed a course that is accredited by the Association for Coaching and Universal Coaching Alliance), I am diagnosed ADHD and likely autistic, and a parent to two neurodivergent children who I home educate. I've spent 8+ years as a Strategy Virtual Assistant to ADHD entrepreneurs, and I've stepped away from a lot of the social and hierarchical "shoulds" to build a life and business that actually works for me and my family — working how I love to work, valuing myself properly, and teaching my kids they can do the same with their own neurodivergent minds.
I'm not here to help you become more "productive" in the generic sense. I'm here to help you understand your own brain well enough to stop fighting it — and start building a business and a life that were actually designed for you.
The plus side? This leads to healthy and vibrant productivity, not the burnt out scary kind once we get it right!
